Remembrance Poppy Charms

Inspired by the Victorian locket idea, our remembrance pieces have been really well received and bring some form of comfort during a hard time. Following the very sad loss of a husband and father, this family commissioned three bangles and asked that the ashes were to be set within a gold remembrance poppy charm behind a Turquoise stone, using the gold from his wedding. Here’s how the process works..

The inherited old gold including wedding band.

Preparing the gold ready to be melted down.

Old gold melted and flattened ready to be shaped into poppies.

Preparing the poppies to be cut out.

Placing the ashes into the settings.

Setting the stone.

The final piece, the gold poppies are set with turquoise stones with the ashes behind.
