Never Tease a Weasle

This was a beautiful yet emotional piece to be asked to make.. Commissioned for a mother by her son, the neckpiece depicts their favourite childhood book ‘Never Tease a Weasel’ first published 1967. I used a mixture of overlays, printing & hand engraving techniques to create the minute detail needed to convey the wonderful 60’s illustrations. We had tears, probably the only time it’s ok to make somebody cry 💙
