Inherited Hexagonal Sapphire

Sadly no before shot for this commission. The inherited piece was brought into me as a dated and worn out claw set ring set with a very dull, almost black coloured stone. Only when removed from it’s old home, cleaned up and set into a modern rub over setting on chunky silver band, did it reveal it’s true colour. A really beautiful rich blue Sapphire.
